If you’ve never been to one of our UK tournaments before, then here’s the low-down on exactly what you can expect.
Weekends for the whole family
We know that junior sport isn’t just about the players, it’s a family affair…and so are our events. We want the family and friends who play ‘taxi’ to and from matches, stand on the side-lines come wind, rain or shine and offer help with the enormous task of the club’s admin to enjoy a weekend away as part of the team too. So, with that in mind, we’ve picked locations that offer plenty of family-fun off the pitch and great holiday parks to allow the entertainment to continue into the evening. After all, what’s a team without its biggest fans?
Top notch sporting facilities
From Fleetwood Town FC’s Official Training Ground, Poolfoot Farm, to Broadland-Great Yarmouth RFC, we’ve chosen our seaside locations for the top sporting facilities that play host to our weekend tournaments. Great quality pitches are a given, but we’ve chosen sites that offer those extra comforts too, such as great food and drink options and changing facilities.
A 2-day tournament with all teams progressing to day 2
We want to make sure you get as much time on the pitch as possible within the regulations of the FA and RFU, so we ensure all teams play on both days. We organise our fixtures in a league format which means everyone gets the same number of games wherever they finish in the ‘league’.
We supply the referees
You simply turn up at the pitch and your referee and match officials will be waiting to get the match started. That’s all taken care of!
On-site reps to ensure all runs smoothly
Our experienced team of reps will be around all weekend to ensure that all runs smoothly. Relax in the knowledge that we’re there if you need us!
Fixtures and results at your finger tips
From the moment you place your booking with us, you’ll have access to an online portal, which allows you to request payments from parents and manage your booking. Once you get to the event, you’ll be able to access fixtures and keep up to date with all the results online as well.
Introducing our special celebrity guests…
Any good tournament culminates with an awards ceremony – the perfect way to end what will be a fantastic weekend! We wanted to add a little extra excitement to our awards ceremony and what better way to do that than invite along a special celebrity guest to present the medals and trophies. In previous years this has included famous faces from the world of Football such as Paul Ince, Steve Sidwell and Carlton Cole, and from the world of Rugby, Billy Twelvetrees, Charlie Sharples and Lewis Moody.
Our special guests for our 2022 events will remain top secret…for now!
A weekend you’ll want to repeat in 2023
We’ll do everything we can to make sure that your team, family and friends have such a good weekend that they’ll be begging to come back and compete for the cup again in 2023.
