The Easter Open (South) Football Tournament
Tournament Overview
The Easter Open has become one of the largest tournaments of its kind in Europe since it began in 1999. It attracts 600 teams from 16 different countries, making it a true celebration of international football.
The tournament is open to boys and girls’ teams, aged U7 to U19, and with matches being held across 40 grass pitches, the scale of this event is truly remarkable.

What to Expect
Day 1:
Morning: Depart your club by coach and drive to Dover for the ferry crossing.
Afternoon: Travel through France, Belgium, and Holland, arriving at your holiday park in the afternoon.
Evening: Enjoy dinner in your accommodation or at a restaurant and relax before the tournament.
Day 2:
Morning: Travel to the sports complex for your first round of matches versus European opposition.
Afternoon: Spend the afternoon in Eindhoven.
Evening: Relax at the holiday park.
Day 3:
Morning: Back to the sports ground for your second round of matches, followed by finals for your group. You will then take part in the awards ceremony! All players will receive participation awards, with other trophies available for the winners and runners-up.
Afternoon: Return to the holiday park and take advantage of the facilities. Go swimming, challenge the high ropes or go climbing!
Evening: Enjoy your final night on tour with a group meal.
Day 4:
Morning: You will board the coach at 10am for your journey home.
Afternoon: Before getting to Calais, why not stop at a Belgian chocolate factory for some treats?
Evening: Return home to your club.

Things to do in the Netherlands
Eindhoven is the nearest city, but with such an action-packed weekend there is little time for excursions. However, you can visit the PSV stadium on your arrival or departure day (time permitting).

What time of year can we go on tour?
April and May are the best times of the year due to the availability for fixtures, although we can arrange tours from late August to early June.
Unfortunately, we cannot arrange tours from Mid-June to mid-August as we cannot guarantee fixtures for you.

What is the deposit schedule?
The deposit schedule will depend on your specific tour arrangements, but usually involves a per person deposit, followed by your final balance. For flight tours, we will also ask for the cost of the flights at the time of booking. Please discuss with your tour consultant.
