West Sussex Rugby Festival
A brand new Rugby festival in West Sussex!
Taking place on the May Day Bank Holiday Weekend, we’re excited to host a new Rugby Festival for U7s to U15s in West Sussex!
Squads will come together from all over the UK to enjoy a 2-day Rugby tournament at a nearby rugby club, with all teams playing on both days. Your weekend will be filled with energy, enthusiasm, team spirit, team bonding and lots of fun!
When the tackling is over and your matches have finished, head back to the multi award-winning Seal Bay Resort, your home for the weekend. With restaurants, arcades and activities galore, there’s something to keep the whole family entertained!

Boys & Mixed Teams.
Open to U7s to U12s mixed teams and U13 – U15 boys teams, the 2-day tournament will be played at Havant RFC.

All tournaments are played in line with RFU Age Grade Regulations.
Match durations will be maximised dependent on number of teams per age group, in line with the RFU ‘Daily Playing Time’ regulations above.
What to Expect
Day 1: Check in and enjoy a host of on-site activities at Seal Bay or head down to the beach.
Day 2: Time to rise for the first day of your festival at Havant RFC. You’ll be assigned either morning or afternoon matches with the rest of the day free for you to explore the local area or head back to the holiday park to enjoy the array of activities onsite!
Day 3: Gather your players and crack on with your remaining games! Awards and medals will be presented by a special rugby guest. Time to celebrate!
Day 4: It’s home time today, but not before taking a last chance to enjoy Seal Bay Resort or explore West Sussex!

Units are offered on a first come, first served basis and availability can change on a regular basis.
Bedding is provided – pillows, duvets/quilts, covers, sheets and pillowcases. However, towels are not provided (with the exception of the lodges and houses) so guests are required to bring their own!

Do we have to drive to the venue?
Yes, we do not have a coach service for this festival.

Can we access the site before check in?
Of course – guests are welcome on the park before check in to enjoy the facilities.

What footwear should players wear?
Most age groups will play on grass but some age groups will play on artificial grass pitches (AGPs). Teams will be notified nearer to the event which surface they will play on so they can pack the appropriate footwear.

What entertainment will there be in the evenings?
There will be a schedule of bingo, games, kids club and award-winning production shows to enjoy. The detailed schedule will be confirmed closer to the festival.
